First Field Trip

The Petri Homeschool (school "name" possibly to follow in a later post) had our first official field trip today.  We went to the Dallas Arboretum with 2 of my best friends Jill and DeAnn, our 6 six kids, and De's mom.  It was so fun to spend time with my friends and watch our kids play together.  De's mom joked how our conversations have changed dramatically from what they were 10 years ago...  It was also pretty cool that Katherine and I could work harder earlier in the week to get the week's work done and take today off to enjoy the BEAUTIFUL weather and God's creation!

Ellie (Jill's youngest - age 3), Katherine (mine - 11), Claire (8.5 months), Noah (De's only - 8 months), Garrett (Jill's oldest - 6.5) and Will (mine - almost 3)

Overall, it was a great day and I can't wait to continue to explore this great world with my sweet kiddos!
